Reminders
Good evening, Bethesda Parents! This is Principal Moore-Lawrence with the Principal's Weekly Spotlight. Please listen to the following announcements and reminders about what's happening at Bethesda. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
#1 On Saturday at Hillside High School, come learn about magnet schools and the lottery process. Elementary Magnet and Year Round Schools will be present from 9-2 and middle and high schools from 2-5.
#2 On Sunday from 2-4, please visit NCCU’s Art Museum to see displays of art work created by Bethesda’s students.
#3 Monday is a Teacher Workday. School is closed for students.
#4 The third grading period begins on Tuesday. On Tuesday evening, Bethesda’s Girls Basketball Team will compete in
the gym. Come and show your support!
#5 Come join Dr. Becoats and members of the Durham Community on Wednesday at 5:30 at Riverside High School for
the State of Our Schools event. Dr. Becoats will share information about how each part of the strategic plan is impacting students and schools.
#6 Thursday from 6:30-8:00 is Bethesda’s Literacy Around the World event. Come hear great stories, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, get a free book, and win door prizes.
#7 Friday is Awards Day at Bethesda. K-2 is at 1:00 and 3-5 is at 2:15.
